Summer Ends

Oh Sweet Abby (as all the boys call you),

What a summer this has been. I will relish every moment we have spent together. I have enjoyed so much about this summer - you are such a precious girl. I love listening to you sing, "Twinkle little star, How, How, How what you are! Diamond in the sky, Twinkle little star!" You bring me such great joy You have learned so much this summer, and I am amazed at how much you can always tell me.
We have spent so much time with our friends, swimming, going to the library, music class, and just playing! I have loved it. I am really going to miss you next week, when I go back to work. I know you will have a great time with your friends, and I am excited for you!

Some days, I sit outside your door and I long to go in there while you are sleeping, just to watch you, or hold you. Sometimes I just sit and cry because of how much I love you. I can't believe the blessing that you are to me. Sometimes I can't believe that God allowed me to have you in my life. You are such an amazing little girl. I know you will grow to be an amazing young woman. Thank you for being my daughter and letting me be your mommy!

Dear Abigail,

I never knew what having a child would really mean. I thought I knew, but I had no idea the impact you would have on everything I do. I remember the 7 1/2 months I waited for you - the last month, doing nothing but thinking about you. I am so blessed to have such a precious little girl. You are truly a gift from God, once again, more than I could have imagined. You are such a blessing to me. I love the way you tell me "I hold you Mommy", I love all the sweet things you do, I love the way you dance, laugh, and find great joy in the little things. I can't believe you are 2 years old today; I can't believe you are already 2, but I also can't believe you are only 2. I cherish everyday with you. Abigail means "a father's joy", but somehow I think it means a mother's joy too. Thank you God for giving me true joy in such a precious little package.

Spring Break

Abigail and I have really enjoyed our Spring Break 2010~ we have already done so much and I am truly enjoying her every moment.
We went to the zoo with Angelyn and Morgan. We enjoyed a fun trip to the Arboretum with Krista, Landry, Logan, Brittany and Austin. We played at McDonalds and Gatti Town. We saw Mommo and Marmie, as well as Poppy D. We have been all over and really made a fun time of it. We are going to see Non and Michelle and Halen tomorrow. We were supposed to go to an Easter Egg hunt, but it looks like the weather will keep us home.
We did get to go swimming today at the Khoury's. Abigail loves to see Maria, George and the girls - they heated the pool and she had a big time!
I am truly relishing every day - she is such a joy! I am blessed.

I can't believe what a precious girl I have been blessed with. Abigail is getting so big and developing quite the personality. Though we have been stuck at home with a bit of sickness, she is on the mend. She is super cute about the way she does, well, everything.

Today she kept telling me "I want to hold you, mommy" - meaning she wanted me to hold her. She is so cute, I can hardly stand it.

We are very interested in the potty and want to use it everyday - even though nothing has happened, as of yet. We will get there.

We are just about 6 weeks away from Abigail's 2nd birthday - I can't believe that she is getting so big.
